Technically a Scotch Ale, not a Stout or Porter, but stouts aren’t in season. Smells of peated malt, like in Scotch whisky, but with a little less booze. Tastes bitter and smoky, with a little warming effect from the alcohol. There’s a subtle sweetness like fig before the smoke and hops finish fades out slowly.
