I review the beers I drink

Tröegs – Crimson Pistil IPA

Wow, it has a pinkish-ruby red color to it, wasn’t expecting that. Smells of heavy hops, but there is a sweeter floral note underneath from the hibiscus. Flavor is along the same lines, bitter IPA flavors with a sweeter floral flavor above it all, with a little grapefruit  mixed  in, very complex. Mouthfeel is moderate, with a very clean, slightly hoppy finish. All in all, one of the more interesting takes on an IPA that I’ve seen.
