I review the beers I drink

Hendrick’s & Fever Tree – “Hendrick’s & Tonic”

A blend of macerated pot still and vapor infused Carter head gins, finished with Bulgarian rose petals and cucumber. Smells of subtle herbal botanicals, cucumber of course, but very little juniper to be found in the aroma. The taste is crisp and vegetal, with a very strong cucumber note, reminiscent of tzatziki in a way. The finish is very mild and floral, with the rose petals coming through behind the cucumber; juniper and it’s associated bitterness are almost an afterthought. Overall, this is a very unique gin, and very refreshing without the acidity of a normal citrus garnish.
