Clear with solid head retention, smells of clean toasty malts, some light hopping and a subtle hint of coconut. The taste is very crisp and toasty, with a full creamy mouthfeel and an aromatic hint of coconut in the background. The finish is long and moderately bitter, with notes of herbal and pine hops, some toasted coconut and a touch of booziness. Overall an interesting beer, the coconut is definitely present and well balanced, but it doesn’t really pair up with any of the other flavors in the beer, it’s just kinda there.
