Clear with decent head retention, smells primarily of mangoes, perhaps some honey or nectar underneath, but very subtle. The taste is crisp, biscuity malt that transitions very quickly to moderately bitter pine and herbaceous hop notes on the back of the tongue; body is medium. The finish is dry with residual hops, but also very fruity as the mango finally shows itself. Overall, this is an interesting pale ale, almost inverted with the hop presence segueing into the fruity mango, but I like it, satisfyingly hoppy yet sessionable and pleasantly quirky.
