Dave Drinks Beer

I review the beers I drink

Tröegs – Hopback Amber Ale

Clear with excellent head retention, smells of caramel malt and herbal hops, very inviting. The taste is crisp with a dominant flavor of toasted bread with some caramel undertones and thick, almost chewy full body. The finish is moderately bitter with herbal, spicy, and subtle citrus peel notes throughout. Overall, this beer is phenomenal; bold yet balanced flavors, very drinkable, and extremely refreshing.
