I review the beers I drink

Stella Artois – Stella Artois

The quintessential Euro lager, I picked up some over the weekend and figured I might as well review it. Clear with decent head retention, smells of soft doughy malt and not much else, perhaps a hint of grassy hops, but very clean. The taste is biscuity with soft caramel notes and a velvety smooth body. The finish is low to moderate in bitterness with spicy, herbal hopping. Overall, you’ve probably had it a million times already, but it’s still a universally available slightly upscale session lager; not necessary, but generally worth the extra money.
