Flashlight shows absolutely no light at all; head retention is fantastic with aromas of coffee and smoke. The taste is sweet and creamy with notes of chocolate, vanilla, and coffee, all paired to a “Luscious” creamy full body. The finish is short and a fairly straightforward extension of the initial flavors, plus a little alcoholic warmth, but it never gets anywhere near burn; notes of coffee, smoke, chocolate, and sweet cream. Overall, this is a fantastic dessert beer, and really hides it’s high ABV well. It’s downright dangerously delicious!
