“Brewed with grapefruit and lemon peel.” Lightly hazy with LOTS of noticable particulate, smells of lemon and grapefruit. The taste is crisp and predominantly toasted bread with just the slightest hint of citrus juice somewhere in the background; the body is medium. The finish is long but low to moderate in bitterness, with notes of citrus peel and pine. Overall, it’s not bad. It seems all Magic Hat IPAs have a strong malt bill which I normally wouldn’t mind, but the delicate citrus flavors of this one are lost to the sea of malt.
