Very hazy with light head retention, smells of grapefruit and bread dough. The taste is crisp and bready, toasted and caramelized flavors abound with some hints of peppery spice in the background and a subtle ale fruitiness paired to a smooth full body. The finish is long but low to moderate in bitterness with notes of citrus peel, herbal hops, and subtle pine. Overall, it’s not bad; still heavy on the malts like the last one, but a bit fuller and smoother throughout.
