I review the beers I drink

Franziskaner – Weissbier Naturtrüb

Very hazy with light head retention, smells of banana, fresh dough, and subtle yeast. The taste is crisp and bready up front, with subtle notes of banana and papaya underneath the smooth, full body. The finish is short and clean, with virtually no bitterness or hop notes but instead a light mineral flavor. Overall, this is possibly the simplest, most sessionable German hefeweizen, and the one I found myself ordering most often when in Bavaria myself back in 2012.
