Lightly hazy with minimal head retention, smells of clean malts and soft citrus, mostly lemon. The taste is crisp and bready, with a medium body, making it lighter than say the 716, but thankfully not watery. The finish is medium in duration and moderately bitter, featuring notes of citrus peel and herbal hops. Overall, I actually like this session IPA; it’s balanced and drinkable, and more importantly never feels like a “watered down IPA” as many do.
